here comes santa clause....here comes santa clause

90 Days Until Christmas

58 Days Until Thanksgiving

35 Days Until Halloween

So you might be wondering what this picture of pumpkin cookies has to do with santa clause.....well kenzie couldn't help it and broke the 'no christmas music until after halloween rule' last night and we put it on. We also made the Cotter traditional pumpkin cookies and watched 'the polar express' for fhe last night. For those of you unaware with how abnormally obsessive us Cotters are with Christmas, upon a comprimise (Kenzie wanted sooner and Brandon wanted later) we decided to decorate for Christmas the day after Halloween. So thats where Santa clause comes in . We know that once Halloween is come then there comes the rest of the Holidays. So at one point you can find Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorations at our house in one go. I love the Holidays! I loved them over in England/Wales for the past 2 years but I was busy with other more important things but I look forward to getting all the family traditions of deckin' the halls with the family this year. There will be more posts to follow about the Holidays later.

I think that I maybe was supposed to be born into your family, besides the creative gene that doesn't exist in me. But yeah, I yelled "THREE MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS" this morning when I got to work. And now that you mentioned it, I think I'll watch the Polar Express tonight. And decorate my house for Christmas tomorrow night!
Oh yeah, and I've decided that I totally admire the fact that you can just go and get jobs. The two jobs I have held in my entire life are based solely on the fact that one was for my dad and one was for my uncle. I am a champ. Ok, not really, but you my friend really are quite amazing and I want to be a Cotter when I grow up.

mel-mels you are funny. Um, good to hear that you are getting the holiday spirit going too. usually we get yelled at by people saying that it won't mean as much cause we bring it in too early. to them i say......no way in h-e-double hockey sticks would I ever get even near getting sick of christmas ever. My stair rails could be adorned by garland and a huge tree in my family room all year long as far as i'm concerned.
