I guess this post is more for me than anyone. Yesterday, October 4th, marked the day 2 years ago that I bawled my way to the airport and got on a plane to England. Today marks the day I entered the Preston England MTC and started the most amazing journey that I could not have even tried to conjure up in my mind. I thought today I'd post a couple MTC pictures. This is my sweet MTC companion that went to London South (sister Erikson). I just actually got an email from her yesterday. I love her.
These two pictures are at the River Ribble Where Heber C. Kimball taught and baptised the first people in the British ISles. My Great-g-g-g Grandfather was the second to be baptised. He raced another man, the one who won, who's Great-g-g-g grandson happened to be in my MTC group. So seeing how cool it was that we were both there at the same time, my MTC president took us out of class and to the river to pretend race. Behind us in that water is where the Baptisms actually took place where an assumed 7,000+ people watched in the park. This is the morning I left saying bye to friends and family (including my sweets below)
The famous map MTC picture that everyone takes.
That was just a taste. If you have a good week and a half or so open in your schedule you could come over and I'd show you all my pictures of all my loves in England and Wales and you wouldn't be able to shut me up.
