Rebuttle......

So some fellow bloggers were ragging on my homeboy this past week so in protection against the innocent I thought I'd shed some positive light for those Macaulay Culkin pessimists out there by displaying some examples from his amazing career.
Richie Rich? .........Yes please! Just late Saturday night my brother beckoned us from the other room, "you guys.....Richie Rich is on" obviously we were really busy or we would have been in there immediatly. But because of it's importance, he got off the love sack, paused it, and came and gathered us to go in and watch it......because he loves us.

The obvious, obvious gems H.A. 1 and 2... they can get you in the holiday spirit even if you are sitting on a sweaty leather couch, not allowed food nor water outside in July. Great acting, memorable lines, leaned forward in your seat spectating excitement is what you are going to find with this one. In addition, without Kevin a sweet older neighbor would still be thought of as a bad man and alone unforgiven on Christmas, a homeless lady would have to feed her birds alone, his family wouldn't have learned a stich of R-E-S-P-E-C-T, and Harry and Marv would still be on the loose. He may have been left alone on Christmas, but he really brought everyone together.
Okay so I do recall a instant crush on Macaulay after Home Alone 1, but if there is anything hotter than Kevin in knitted sweaters, its Macaulay with a Mullet. Getting even with dad teaches the vital lesson that we, the natural man, so often forget. Money isn't everything. He taught his own father this valuable lesson and again conquered the crooks in:
Look he is even giving us the a-o-kay sign for "I'm a good guy".
And for this next one....if you even try to say that it didn't make you cry when you watched it...then I have to say you are either
1. the most heartless person I have ever met
2. the biggest liar that I have ever met
(both are not admirable qualities) so I think that you loved it as much as I did. I mean don't you just want to grab your hankie even hearing the line, "his glasses.....his glasses......he can't see without his glasses....."

Okay another one of bringing the family together. excellent choice, it shows that he's a selective actor.....he's not just going to take any role.
Dear nameless Macaulay bashers (Michelle and Chris).......you 0bviously forgot his role in the video 'Black or White' by the king of Pop himself, Micheal Jackson. What a convincing teenager he played wanting to play his music louder, I know I always do. He spoke on behalf of all us kids out there that were wanting to turn the volume up a notch while speaking out against discrimination.
The next one shows how versitile he is. What a villainous role.
SOme of his earlier work........
lest you forgot another gem. Literary genious, as well as evil combatter.....

Okay and there is more where that came from...
So Macaulay had some seriously difficult teen years, divorcing the parents and all. But he was just on the journey of self discovery that we all have to go on. May his legacy live on for generations to come, for I personally know that my offspring and their offspring and theres and theres....could all benefit from watching this fine fine actor.

LO Freaking L, Case I am dying of laughter! My two favorite mentions are Pagemaster, lol again, and Michael Jackson's song. Thanks for the Rebuttle, you know how much I love Home Alone I, II. "Kevin, I'm going to feed you to my taranchula." Brad and I might have sat down and watched Richie Rich on vhs about a month ago, "Dad not found...Dad not found." That movie still makes me want to have a McDonalds in my house.

LOL thank you Casey. This post was entirely neccessary. And I almost started crying when I read the my girl part. That was the first (and just about only) movie that I remember crying in. And I sobbed. So sad.
