ROADTRIP!

Craig, being the artist she is, needed the perfect peice for her latest art project (a dashboard Plastic Jesus to go on top of her shadow box, looking over it). So we went up the road, and what we encountered was a gold mine! I had no idea there were so many treasures to be found in Miami and Globe Arizona. They have so many cool old antique stores and the best green chile Burritos at Burger House. This is Globe back in the day when they were harvesting these gems for our purchasing now.
There are so many amazing old buildings
and gems ( I love colored old glass with character, I collect the green variety)

Here I am with Jaime in front of the old YMCA in Miami. Someday Craig will buy the old place and restore it, and I will ride her coat tails all the way to Miami to see the splendor.
Mission Accomplished!
I had the Best time Craig. Thanks for your creativity and spontaneity!
P.S. For all of those who had Craig for a teacher, they are having a retirement party for her in the high school library on Tuesday May 13th. It is come and go from 3:30-5ish. Her wish is to see all her old students and friends, come say hi.
