Overlook Farm and Head of the Charles

The Head of the Charles is the biggest rowing race in the world, with people coming from all over the world to participate. My roommate Emily used to row for Dartmouth and they asked her to be on the alumni rowing team again this year. It was so exciting all day getting geared up to see her on the Charles river.

First, Meg and I went to Overlook Farm for a ward service project. In our time there we were able to help a sweet old man paint a barn and see some pretty sites.

When we got back in town we headed down to the river
and met Sheena and waited anxiously for Em

and finally here she came...(third from the top...GO EMILY!!)

I felt like a proud MAMA, it was so much fun to watch her. {GOOD DAY}
