p.s. It is COLD here. I walk about a mile to and from the bus stop in both the morning and afternoon (which is a lot in these temps). In the morning, I just try to get to the bus and out of the bitterness as fast as I can without slipping on the ice (which has happened before). I am surviving it though and sometimes, when my eyes aren't frozen, I enjoy what I can see on my walks home in the afternoon.
Like earlier this week when I walked the lane beside some geese. Or when the sun is out and it melts the morning snow off the irridecent burgundy bark on Austin Street (the picture doesn't do it justice).
or like today when I broke an icicle off a car bumper and pretended it was my nose. A spectator might have snuck by me when I took the bottom photo.

Very cute Casey! Maybe you should come visit us in southern "warm" utah. You are always welcome and will always have a place to stay.
